What an amazing teacher Max is! He's been teaching our son for a year now, who passed his Initial Grade with merit in July and is currently preparing for his Grade 1 exam. Max is incredibly friendly and empathetic. He challenges our son as well as encourages him, and I couldn't recommend him highly enough!

We moved to using Max as a piano teacher about six months ago and we have seen a transformation in our son’s technique, approach and attitude towards playing. He is simply a very rare find who we cannot recommend highly enough. His kind, meticulous and patient approach has helped guide our son get his grade, which given the short deadline (slibus ending) was not an easy challenge. With our son now simply playing and practicing for joy. If you are looking for a piano teacher, you found an amazing one!

Max is Arthur's 4th teacher and his favourite by far. He even asks to go to extra lessons in the holidays! Max has taken the time to really get to know Arthur, how he learns and what keeps him interested. His lessons are often playfull but full of his extensive musical knowledge which he imparts at just the right level, without dumbing down. He really instills a love of music in Arthur. We are definitely sticking with Max! Arthur's mum.

Max is a brilliant teacher with a deep musical knowledge and palpable passion for the piano, theory, and music itself. His lessons are relaxed due to his friendly nature, but he will always try to push you to the edge of your abilities. He has been instrumental (pun intended) to my recent piano progress.

Max is an excellent teacher, my son really looks forward to his lessons. Max has a passion and enthusiasm for music that is infectious. He takes my sons musical education extremely seriously, focusing on every details and goes to great lengths to Iron out any inaccuracies. My son has multiple hobbies but since Max started teaching him piano, it is his favourite. I would recommend Max to anybody that is looking to learn the piano or has a child who is interested in learning the piano.

Max is an excellent teacher. My son really enjoys his lessons and Max is fantastic at communicating and getting the most out of him by ensuring his teaching style is tailored to suit his quiet temperament. Max continues to be a fantastic tutor to my two daughters (aged 13 and 14). They both started learning piano and reading music last year with Max after I insisted that they learned an instrument. Max has been very tolerant, calm and professional and built a very good rapport with my daughters to help them engage, develop their skills and now actual enjoy the piano and playing music (hats off to Max for this achievement!) A very easy 5 star review!
